What We Do
Udaan creates spaces where Hindi, Urdu and other South Asian languagescome alive — through melody, verse, and the ancient art of simply sitting together and listening.
Original productions and theatrical storytelling-
from classic narratives to diaspora stories,
from Munshi Premchand to Melbourne's laneways,
from new beginnings to nostalgic reflections.
Classical and contemporary South Asian music in intimate, curated settings that feel like a gathering with family.
And in heritage-listed Grand venues where the it echoes in all its glory.
The living tradition of Hindi & Urdu poetry evenings — where a couplet can make a room fall silent and then erupt.
